That fish looked oddly similar to Ben!! Remember Black fin have soft lips / mouths. The hooks can easily pull if not gut hooked. They make a good first run then turn into a log. Thats when the hooks...

The fishing is alot better than being posted. Seeing alot of types of fall fish. Its only going to get better untill it gets to cold. Seeing nice baits, & plenty after them. Pick your days.

you tell no lies. yesterday some ballyhoos got crushed close to the pier and about 5-7 large dolphin came by. only 1 ate though, and 1 good bf tuna.

Nice job and congratulations on a release, although I cannot fault someone who wants to keep a legal fish. Releases from a boat allow some rehab for the fish which is almost impossible from a pier...
